About<3

Madley is an indie pop artist from Charlotte, North Carolina, twenty-five years old and raised in a family where the arts were not a hobby but the thing the house ran on.

The songs work a narrow, deliberate band of feeling — love, hope, loss and sorrow, often all inside the same three minutes. The ambition is not catharsis for its own sake but company: music for people in the middle of something, made by someone who has been there.

Music made hoping to inspire a healing journey in their listeners. Madley

The influence Madley names first is the soundtrack Rebecca Sugar wrote for Steven Universe, and it shows in the construction more than the surface: short songs carrying more weight than their runtime suggests, melodies that resolve kindly, and an unembarrassed willingness to say the difficult thing plainly. Madley writes and produces alongside their sister, Winter Grace.

The catalogue opens with Christmas for Dep-Rest of Us in December 2023 and runs through nine singles across 2024 to PAPERHEARTS in January 2025 — eight tracks, every title in lowercase, every one signed off with a typed <3. PATCHWORKHEARTS, released on Valentine’s Day 2026, reopens that record with five more songs and closes it on loveache < / 3, seven and a half minutes long.
